Throughout four afternoons, between April 24th-27th, teachers and informal educators from different educational institutions and organizations from Timi\u015foara attended a workshop of education through film, organized as a first by Pelicula Cultural\u0103<\/a> and Ceau, Cinema!<\/a><\/p>\n

We thank them for their interest and involvement!<\/p>\n

The participants had the opportunity to find more information especially on how to use the films in their teaching process at class, as well as on how important cinema can be in understanding contemporary society challenges.<\/p>\n

The workshop was held by H\u00e5kon Tveit and Donia Lina Nilsen, experts within the education through film program that has been carried out for the last 20 years by Bergen International Film Festival<\/a> (BIFF).<\/p>\n

Organized at Centrul de Proiecte (the City Project Center)<\/a>), the workshop launched a collaboration that Ceau, Cinema! undergoes in 2023 with BIFF, the biggest film festival in Norway and one of the most important in Northern Europe.<\/p>\n

The communication partner of the workshop was the Association Initiativa in Educatie<\/a>, whom we wish to thank.
\nThe activities are part of the project \u201cSee you at the cinema?! \u2013 The role of art movie theaters and of film festivals in the streaming platform era\u201d, funded by SEE and Norway Grants.<\/p>\n

The project will continue during the 10th edition of Ceau, Cinema!, which will take place on July 12th \u2013 16th.<\/p>\n
